I have a secret obsession… well I guess it won’t be so secret anymore because I’m letting it out for the world to know. I LOVE children’s books!!! Like if I didn’t have a child of my own I’d still buy them because they are awesome. My love definitely stems from my childhood. I was neck-deep in books at all times. I loved being able to go anywhere, be anyone, learn ANYTHING all from a book.
And as a mother, there is nothing better than giving my daughter my undivided attention and my favorite way to do so is reading books together. So when I learned that I could get amazing children’s books for free I was all ears.
I had heard the words Usborne Books floating around on the internet but wasn’t super familiar with these books at all. So when I was invited to a Facebook party to learn about these books, I was definitely curious enough to attend and learn more.
I was not disappointed. What I learned was that Usborne Books & More sells high-quality, educational and interactive books for itty bitty babies all the way through young adults. I bought my first batch of Usborne books from the Facebook party I attended and I am so glad I did. They are my daughter’s absolute favorites.
Someone suggested that I host a party so that I could earn free books. At the time I wasn’t completely sure about it because I didn’t really know what that meant. Why would I want to host a party? Would it be a lot of work for me? Will I be annoying all my friends? What’s the deal with it and should I do it?
What I found out is:
Why would I want to host a party? If you love children’s books and have family & friends that do too then you are the perfect person to host a party.
Would it be a lot of work for me? No. The parties are quick and easy. My job is to personally invite anyone that I think would love the books too and do a few posts on the event page to show people how excited I am about the party. Everything else my Usborne Books & More consultant would do.
Will I be annoying all my friends? No. Nobody should be spammed. Yuck. You invite people that you think will genuinely enjoy learning about the books. If they want to attend then they accept the invite and if they don’t then that’s okay too. And seriously, what’s annoying about promoting literacy?
What’s the deal with it and should I do it? Yes! It is a great opportunity to learn about all the amazing books Usborne has and help grow your child’s/children’s library with the most engaging & educational books.
I’m so glad that I decided to be a host. I already knew I would enjoy the books but what I didn’t realize at the time was that I would have that lead to a part-time job for myself. It was the perfect fit though. I love children’s books so I also became an Independent Consultant. So, if you love children’s books and want to stock up your children’s library YOU CAN and I would love to help you.
Oh! And since I am new to the business, the company generously allows me to offer double free books for hosts that have parties with sales over $250 with one booking.
If you are a researcher like me, feel free to browse around the Usborne website and check out the books for yourself at: http://y6783.myubam.com/867096
